Can You Make Someone Fall in Love With You?

By Master Bodou · Traditional African spiritual healer · 27 years of practice

Some people write to me about an ex. Others write about someone who barely knows they exist — a person they cannot stop thinking about, who passes them like a stranger. If that is you, this is an honest answer.

It is one of the most common questions I am asked: can you make someone fall in love with me? The people who ask are not always heartbroken over a breakup. Often they are quietly consumed by someone specific — a colleague, a friend, a person they have loved from a distance for a long time — and they want to be the one that person cannot stop thinking about too.

The honest answer

No ritual overrides another human being's free will, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you a lie. But that is not the same as saying nothing can be done. What the traditional work acts on is what stands between you and that person — indifference, distance, the pull of someone else, the simple fact that they have never truly seen you. Where there is something real to build on, that door can be opened.

You cannot force a feeling that has no root. But you can clear the ground so that a feeling which could exist is finally given the chance to grow.

When attraction work has the best chance

What about making someone think about you?

This is often what people really mean. They want to move from invisible to unforgettable — to become someone the other person's mind keeps returning to. That is frequently what the work is for: to stir something in a person who has been cold, distant, or simply unaware, so that you are no longer easy to overlook.

A word of honesty

I will not tell you every case can be helped. When I look at a situation and see nothing to build on, I say so — before anything begins. That honesty is the whole reason people trust me with the ones they cannot help still hoping for.

There is someone specific, isn't there?

Tell me who they are and what stands between you. I will tell you honestly what I see, and whether the work can help.
